Restructure at DBL Logistics

Accelerating into 2021, DBL Logistics' Operations Director steps-up in board re-structure.

The change in structure will see our Managing Director – David Clarkson step into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after 23 year at the wheel. At this exciting time David hands the keys over to Operations Director – Adam Boyd (TechIOSH) who takes up the role of Managing Director for all companies within the group.

David Clarkson, CEO comments, “I feel the time is right for Adam to lead the group into the new era of DBL Logistics, with some major things in the pipe line for 2021 & beyond. Adam has been with us for 4 years and has become an integral part of the business, including leading the team through the challenges of 2020 to date. My new role will see me step back from the day to day running of the company & focus more into future development of the group”.

Since joining the business in 2017, Adam has now progressed from Transport Manager (2017-18), Operations Director (2018-21), to Managing Director. Steering the company through multiple changes, growths & the current COVID crisis. With a background in distribution including 3 years as a transport manager at Steinhoff UK & 4 years serving in the Army’s Royal Logistics Corps including a stint in Afghanistan during 2009. We are very excited to see what the future holds for us at DBL Logistics.

Adam Boyd (TechIOSH) – Managing Director comments “This is an exciting time for DBL Logistics, I look forward to leading the team into a new chapter as we strengthen the business for the road ahead”.
