Responding to the COVID-19 crisis

The COVID-19 crisis has caused serious implecations for businesses and individuals worldwide.

In response to this unprecidented situation, DBL Logistics, in partnership with our network Pall-Ex have produced updated policies to maintain service levels and protect employees, customers, and the general public as much as possible.

Reducing Exposure

DBL Logistics and our network, Pall-Ex, have produced a change to the delivery and collection process in an attempt to reduce exposure as much as possible. All deliveries and collections will be contactless, with drivers collecting a name, time, and date upon delivery or collection – there will be no handing over of paperwork, or collection of signatures.

All current customers of DBL Logistics have received an email from us detailing our updated policies that needs to be signed and returned.

Keeping Supply Chains Strong

We understand the level of importance that the industry we work in holds in society. In times of crisis, shops still need to be stocked, healthcare products still need to be transported, and household goods still need to reach their destinations.

With this in mind, DBL Logistics are dedicated to keeping our supply chains in place so that we can continue to service our customers in this difficult time.

We have already relocated some non-operational staff to work from home in order to reduce exposure internally as much as possible, and as stated in yesterday’s announcement, control measures have been put in place to limit the exposure of our front-line staff who are working hard to keep business continuity.

Monitoring the COVID-19 Crisis

The Coronavirus crisis is developing by the hour at the moment, our Operations Director, Adam Boyd (TechIOSH), is working hard to monitor the situation and is in constant contact with our network, Pall-Ex, and our colleague member depots.

We will continue to adapt to the situation and work with the Government’s advice to keep the country’s supply chains strong.

DBL Logistics would like to thank all of our customers, visitors, and every delivery and collection point we are visiting, for their continued support and understanding.

Keep an eye on our socials for the latest updates on our service.
