DBL Logistics delivers ‘fantastic’ fourth consecutive award

We have become the only member across a national industry network to win a prestigious award for a fourth consecutive year.
We were awarded platinum status for the fourth year running at the United Pallet Network (UPN) annual awards ceremony at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
Of the UPN’s 85 depots, we were one of just 12 to be awarded platinum status at the 2016 ceremony, and we’re now the only business to have won platinum four years in a row.
Awards are handed out for outstanding quality of ongoing work across all sections of the business, including scanning, deliveries, paperwork, ePODs and collections.
David Clarkson, our Managing Director, said: “We pride ourselves on providing extremely high standards of service throughout our business, and the fact that we have once again retained our platinum status reflects this.
“To be the only one of the 85 depots throughout the entire UPN Network to achieve this feat makes us extremely proud as a business.
“This gives us the platform to build upon another successful year for DBL Logistics, having expanded three times in the last three years, something which has enabled us to deliver a much higher volume of consignments in and out of the UPN on a daily basis.
“Recognition such as this underlines that significant investment, which will play an important part in our growth strategy and future plans.”
David Brown, Managing Director of UPN, said: “The outstanding team at DBL Logistics provide a fantastic service as part of the UPN member network.
“I’d like to congratulate David Clarkson and everyone at DBL Logistics on their achievement – being the only depot in our member network to be awarded platinum status for four years in a row takes some doing
“DBL Logistics is a founder member of the UPN Network and continues to act as a great example of the collaborative power of the pallet network system working at its very best.”
