DBL Logistics were honoured to be involved in Sheffield United’s Christmas community visit day.
Managing director Dave Clarkson and sales director Earl Robinson joined players Michael Doyle, Bob Harris, Ben Davies, Craig Alcock, Terry Kennedy, Neil Collins and Club legend Tony Currie at Bluebell Wood, where they delivered festive gifts to children and their families.
With them came the famous FA Cup trophy which the Football Association allowed the Club to borrow for the day.
Dave Clarkson said: “It was a real honour to be involved with Sheffield United’s Christmas community visit.
“We were able to witness first-hand the amazing bravery of the children and their families, and also the hard work and dedication of the Bluebell Wood staff.
“It is a truly remarkable place and we are delighted to show our support for such an amazing cause.”
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice took to Twitter to thank the club and its sponsors for attending.
They said: “We really can’t thank you enough for bringing such joy today. You’ve helped us make memories our children and families can treasure.”
