Where is DBL based?
DBL headquarters is based in our purpose built 25,000sq.ft. warehousing facility on Sheffield Business Park.

How can I track my consignments?
All our customers are able to track & trace their consignments on-line. Please call our office for your login details.

How do I book collections?
Collections can be booked on-line, via email, fax or over the phone.

How quickly can I get proof of delivery?
All delivery drivers within the network carry an XDA, which electronically captures their signature for proof of delivery. You will then receive the signed POD within your inbox in 30 seconds, which you can then print or email direct to your customer.

What type of vehicles do you have?
We have a fleet of Mercedes vehicles, ranging from a Mercedes Sprinter van to a brand new 28 tonne capacity Mercedes Tractor Unit.

Does DBL have a fuel surcharge?
No!

Do I need an account to ship with DBL?
Yes. You can download our account application form from this website. Once returned it will give us great pleasure to confirm that your account had been set up and ready to use, as and when you have a pallet to despatch.

Do you transport goods into Europe?
Yes. Within the United Pallet Network (UPN) we have 4 depots dedicated to deliveries into Europe. Also DBL can arrange for sea or airfreight deliveries further afield.

Do your drivers carry identification?
Yes. DBL drivers carry identification and wear company uniforms.

Does DBL accept credit card payments?
Not yet, but this service will be available shortly.

What are your payment terms & terms and conditions?
DBL operates a weekly invoice run and operates a strict payment term of 30 days from date of invoice.

What insurance do you carry?
£5,000 per ton.

What is the latest time I can book a collection?
The latest time we allow customers to book a collection is 4.00pm.

What is the latest time you will carry out a collection?
DBL aims to provide all our customers with a bespoke service that suits their requirements. Therefore we offer a very flexible service with collections carried out up to 6.30pm.

Does DBL do third party collections and is there an extra charge?
Yes. 3rd party collections carry no surcharges. The price you see is the price you pay.
