DBL Logistics is a leading member of the United Pallet Network (UPN), offering pallet distribution throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Formed in 1983, Bert Clarkson formed a small transport company called Yorkshire Distribution Services delivering white goods to private households in the North East of England.

His son, David became Managing Director and took over running the business in 1998.  He has since established DBL Logistics moving to the present 3 acre site with a purpose built 25,000 sq ft warehouse, with Bert as Operations Manager still an integral part of the business.

Since our humble beginnings, the business has changed significantly over the past 25 years it has been operating.  DBL now has a state of the art IT system, and extensive brand new fleet of Mercedes 17½ton vehicles, 7½ton vehicle, tractor units, Wagon & Drag unit and Mercedes Sprinter Van for same day/emergency deliveries.  With our new warehouse, and links into the UPN distribution network, DBL can cater for a huge range of warehousing and distribution needs.’
